Immortals

King Hyperion (Rourke) has traveled far and concurred many in search of the virgin oracle who can see the future and is the only one who knows the location of the ultimate weapon. With this weapon Hyperion's already formidable army will be unstoppable. Theseus (Cavill) is chosen by Zeus to stop Hyperion's army and save humanity.
Theseus, the poor bastard son, has been mentored by an elderly man in the art of war and the mysteries of being a man. No matter Theseus social status or lack he still carries himself with honor, and this catches the attention of the gods. Joined by renegades and vagabonds will this passionate group be enough to stop the steadily growing armies of the mighty King?
From the producers of "300", this movie fits somewhere between the awesomeness that is "300" and the over hyped, 3D super production that was "Clash of the Titans". It has all of the action, all of the special affects, but if not for Mickey Rourke misses the mark on developing an actual story. Rourke brings emotion, passion, and drama to the screen.
ALL good movies tell a story, but great movies make you a part of the story that is being told. This was just another "good" movie.

I rated this 6 of 10
